DESCRIPTION
The reversible city is a project of temporary occupation of the soil. The workshop aimed to place the services connected to the archeological park of Selinute. The objective and the theme of the work where on one side the integration with the landscape and on the other the design of movable architecture which found their design principle in their short life spam. Some prototypes where created, thought with simple and economic technologies based on a box-like structure in steel, mounted on a cart with wheels which can legally be transported on road. The principal module constitutes a small electrical plant which is alimented from photovoltaic panels and successively provides power for the other modules. The second module represents the infrastructures, the toilets and the kitchens, all thought as compost toilets in order to be stored inside the module. Finally there are the collective services, represented from a panoramic module that frames the panorama and a small, but luxurious, living unit which finds quality in the panorama.
