ARCò is at the XIII International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale with EMPTILESS, a video project about public spaces, exposed to the Italian Pavilion curated by Luca Zevi, in Remade section curated by Maria Luisa Palumbo. The video project processing is based on the assumption that: "It is not an year like the others. The Italian Pavilion of the Biennale must be centered on this difference and become the opportunity to reflect on the relationship between economic crisis, architecture and territory". The video want to show the related originality to the creation of public space. This is resolved with a conscious attention to the sustainability of the project, also declined into its social, environmental and economic components. We started reflecting on the fundamental variable that represents the container of every public space. The void, then the space between things and the ability of the project to build relationships, develop processes, giving new visions. The research focused on projects that can be resilient during this current crisis and then they continue working out of occasional disturbances, or they consider the perturbation as a new occasion to project.
